We welcome you to the Road to Emmaus Groups Blog as a fellow companion on the journey to find Christ.

The Road to Emmaus teaches us a very important lesson: namely that, with each step we take on our path in life, whether it be a time filled with blessings or struggles, Jesus, whether apparent or hidden, is present with us on our journey.  As we gather together in a group in His name, His Presence permeates our conversations to inspire us, nourish us, and to rebuild our weary spirits as we humbly reflect on His Word and share our life experiences with each other.  Realizing this, we want to begin a renewed journey with Christ–a journey where we can come together as brothers and companions all working together to help each other to see where and how Christ is present in our lives.  The Road to Emmaus Groups are one way we can set off on the first step in this new journey.  These groups offer a way for us to share our spiritual struggles and joys with other men–other brothers–who respectfully welcome our shared reflections and experiences without judgement.  We realize that our shared common experience of everyday life, once shared together in a group of spiritual brothers, can be a way that Jesus reveals that He is walking on our path with us, and furthermore, can even serve as the vehicle and means that He uses to touch the lives of other brothers in the group.  As spiritual brothers who have committed to supporting each other in an Emmaus Group, we appreciate when the members of our group share new insights with the rest of the group because they deepen and enrich our awareness of being with Jesus on our journey.

As a member of a Road to Emmaus group, you have joined a local group of brothers who have committed themselves in supporting their fellow brothers in search of Christ in their everyday walks in life.  Through our blog, however, you are joining a brotherhood which is not bound by geographic location, but by a faith which knows no boundaries.  This blog is our personal reach to all members of Emmaus Groups across the country, and it is our hope that, through this blog, you will be able to receive spiritual nourishment and support through reflections, articles, and experiences contributed by members of Road to Emmaus groups.  We have found that it is most efficient to stay in contact with our men via blog, as we are not able to personally email each member of each Emmaus Group at each location.  Please check back on our blog for updates, articles, shared experiences, and testimonies of how God is using the Road to Emmaus Groups to bring groups of men closer to His Son, Jesus Christ, and in doing so, banding together men, who were once strangers, as brothers in faith.  We welcome your insights and feedback and ask you to share your experiences as you feel moved by the Spirit to do so.
